TRUE COLORS WORKSHOP
Following is a description of a workshop we’re offering for the first time, that I think may be of great benefit; please try to fit it into your schedule to attend. It will be offered on October 9, and again on the 23rd, from 10am -1pm, at the Worksource/YWCA location at 3rd and Virginia. True Colors offers in-depth and research-based insights into behavioral, motivational and communication styles in order that the job seeker be more prepared to participate in the job search. Participants will find that improving self knowledge increases confidence and self esteem, as well as helping to overcome barriers to progress. True Colors was designed to make this process of self awareness easy, fun and entertaining through the use of a color metaphor and “edutainment”. A NEW TRANSCRIBING CLASS

The Washington Talking Book and Braille Library (WTBBL) is starting a new transcribing class in November, 2012! If you are a perfectionist and love to read, and want to help others read, you could learn to transcribe books into braille! WTBBL OFFERS A FREE COURSE IN BRAILLE TRANSCRIPTION in 25 lessons, on Wednesday evenings from November, 2012 to June, 2013. This is a seven-month class with weekly computer homework (PC-based software provided). Classes meet at WTBBL, 2021 9th Avenue (at Lenora) in Seattle. Free parking available during class.
